Team Candland in the City

We decided it was time to venture into the city using ....dum dum dum....public transportation. Fortunatley the NJ Transit website pretty much takes all the guess work out of it for you. In preperation for our journey I spent a few days before the trip warning Reagan not of strangers or rats but of how many layers of clothing she was going to have to wear. She was very excited to take the bus. The bus stop is on the corner of our street and takes about 20 steps to get there.

After the bus we hopped on the subway and took the train to our stop at 5th Ave / 42nd Street. Just a short hike 8 blocks got us to Rockefeller Center. It was COOOLD and there were soooo many people. The tree is nice, and I am sure the bazillion people around us agreed!

The stores like Macy's, Tiffany's, FAO Schwartz and Disney had lines around the buildings to get in. We were not up for that. We had a super yummy lunch at Burger Heaven. After lunch it was even colder than before so we decided to make our way back to New Jersey. Reagan loved the adventure and we will do it a lot more...when it is a little warmer.

Wow...what a neat adventure for the Candland Three! As usual the photos are great. I have never seen sooo many layers and different clothing on R,M, & S.
